Clinical Management and Micro-Computed Tomography Analysis of Supernumerary Teeth in Infancy: A Case Report

چکیده

Supernumerary teeth develop from excessive proliferation and development of the dental lamina. can cause several problems, including ectopic eruption, delayed root resorption adjacent teeth, diastema. in infancy are rare have rarely been reported. Case a 2-day-old infant with 3 supernumerary is presented here patient was followed up for 21 months. The erupted tooth primary dentition extracted under moderate sedation at age 14 Microcomputed tomography analysis confirmed microscopic malformation. After extraction, midline diastema reduced oral hygiene improved. Early diagnosis prompt treatment prevent complications teeth.
